Who We Are

Polar Air is built by a founder and an advisor who've been operating in creative and technical industries for decades — and who happen to have met as college roommates and amateur club promoters years ago. They quickly learned that the idea of turning their dorm room into a club was frowned upon. Fortunately, their plan to build a deck off their quad-facing window never got off the ground.

Evan Balmer got his start in the entertainment business managing independent artists and eventually Grammy, Academy and Golden Globe award winners — equal parts creative and operator. After music came his own law firm, big law and in-house corporate legal work, and the realization that AI was doing for business operations what the internet did for music distribution in the 2000s.

For AI guidance, Evan turned to his former roommate, Steve Momorella, who brings 30 years in digital technology — building PR and marketing software, running an internet software and services company, helping Fortune 500 firms, startups, non-profits, and government organizations navigate every platform shift from the early web to AI. He also teaches and develops public relations courses at the university level.

Between the two: creative industry fluency, enterprise-grade digital infrastructure experience, legal and operational rigor, and an academic frame for how communication evolves. That's an unusual combination for an AI-native agency — most competitors have one of those muscles and are faking the others.
